Kennedy Snyder

Kennedy Snyder was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and attended the University of Florida, where she earned dual degrees in International Studies and German Language and Literature, along with a minor in Communication Studies. She later moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University College of Law, becoming the first in her family to graduate from law school.



During law school, Kennedy was actively involved in the Technology and IP Clinic, where she gained hands-on experience with real-world intellectual property (IP) issues. As a student ambassador for Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP), she hosted networking events, community service projects, and IP-focused panels throughout Chicago. Kennedy also graduated with a Certificate in IP Law, reflecting her dedication to the field.

Kennedy began her legal career as a college student, working at a personal injury and family law firm. In law school, she held positions at both a real estate firm and a mid-size firm, where she gained extensive experience in intellectual property law, civil and commercial litigation, privacy issues, breach of contract cases, trademark registration, trademark and trade dress litigation, internet law, and data privacy. Her passion for the law stems from a lifelong love of problem-solving and advocacy. Kennedy finds fulfillment in helping clients navigate challenging times, knowing her work makes a meaningful difference in their lives.



Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys immersing herself in all that Chicago has to offer. A travel enthusiast, she studied abroad in Germany during her undergraduate years and in Cuba during law school. You’ll often find her exploring new restaurants and bars with friends, attending yoga or barre classes, or enjoying Chicago’s vibrant events, from street festivals to concerts. She also loves spending time outdoors with her dog, embracing the city’s parks and lively atmosphere.
